February Classes & Crops
Midnight Madness: Fridays, 2/4 and 2/18 4 pm to midnight $12 Join us for 8 hours of scrapbooking, working on your projects or just gabbing with your friends.
Wednesday Make-n-Takes for $1, each Wednesday, offered all day long Stop by when you have a few minutes to make the project we've designed for just $1! It's ususally a card, but we've done bookmarks & treat boxes, too. We'll post the project the night before on the website & Facebook so you can have a sneek peek!
Valentine Kids Class: Saturday, 2/5 10:30 am $10 Kids, ages 5 to 10 can make this fun Things I Love mini book in no time flat!
LOVE Cards: Saturday, 2/5 3:00 pm $10 Come in & make these three cards for Valentine's Day. Won't it be nice to have your cards ahead of time?
Heart Attack 2 Page Layout: Thursday, 2/10 6:00 pm $15 We'll be making a 2 page layout using fun inking techniques.
Open House Meet-n-Greet All Day Crop: Saturday, 2/12 10:00 am to 8:00 pm $10 Come celebrate the new ownership of About Memories and More with a fun All Day Crop! There will be $1 make-n-takes throughout the day, as well as door prizes, raffles, snacks & MORE! The make-n-takes, raffles & door prizes are open to everyone, but we sure would love for you to come crop with us!
Be My Valentine Card & Treat Box: Monday, 2/14 $8 The first class is at 10 am, but you can come anytime throughout the day to make your last minute cards & treats...just give yourself about an hour. This class is great for older kids, too!
Basic Scrapbooking: Tuesday, 2/15 1:00 pm $15, Tuesday, 2/22 4:30 pm (or by appointment) Learn the basics of scrapbooking. We'll have you bring 8-10 photos from a single event & teach you how to use the tools of th trade...properly. Not only that, you'll leave with a completed 2 page layout & a can do attitude!
Mom-n-Me 2 Page Layout: Thursday, 2/17 5:30 pm $15 Create this lovely layout with us...and don't worry if you don't have any mom-n-me photos...any will do!
Year in Review with Kirsten: Saturday, 2/19 10:30 am $25 Kirsten will be using photos from January to create a fun 2 page layout using papers from the brand new Little Yellow Bicycle line Twig...photo is coming soon!
Basic Grey Page of the Month with Kirsten: Saturday, 2/19 1:30 pm $25 This is the final class in the 12 month series. We've signed up for the next year of Page of the Months & if you missed out this year, you'll want to make sure to sign up early! It's a great program with great, Basic Grey designed layouts each month.
FREE Crop Monday: Monday, 2/21 10 am to 6 pm Sign up to reserve your spot for our FREE Crop Monday! You'll have 8 hours to work on your projects & we'll be here to help you out if you have any questions. It's a great way to spend your day off!

Imaginisce Animal Cracker Collection
I must say that I do not particularly like clowns, the circus or the carnival in general.... I find all of these things to be a bit creepy.
Yesterday we got in a new collection from Imaginisce with all of these themes included in one.
Creepy right?
No, no, not really, actually I find this collection rather cute, and I can't wait to gather some pictures together to put on these papers!
So, with that said, I would love to know what you think of this collection yourself!

Page of The Week
Instructions for Page of The Week
What you need:
- one 12x12 print paper for the background
- one 12x3 piece of solid color cadstock (green)
- one 4 5/8x 7 7/8 solid cardstock (red)
- one 4 1/4x7solid cardstock (yellow)
- one 6 1/4x 4 1/4 solid cardstock (light blue border for picture)
- on solid cardstock tag size 4 5/8x 2 1/2 (light blue)
- one large brad (yellow)
- eight buttons
- eight colorful cardstock flowers
- one 4x6 photo
What to do:
- Lay down printed paper
- Adhere the 12x3 solid cardstock on very right edge of page
- Overlap and adhere the solid cardstock pieces (red and yellow) to the upper half of exposed printed paper
- Adhere photo to border cardstock and center over the two other cardstock pieces
- Push brad through tag and adhere tag to bottom left of page
- Arrange and adhere flowers along right side of page
- Add buttons to center of flowers
- Use tag for journaling on

CHA 2011
We have finally made it back home from this years' CHA Trade show in L.A. The show was huge and GREAT new products were introduced!!! We cannot wait to bring in the NEW items to the store! I think that you will love the new collections and new SUPRISES coming ... We are sure excited to show you, but we aren't going to let out the secerets until they begin to arrive! Although, we do want to share some pictures with you of course! .... Enjoy, and keep checking in for NEW products!

Day FIVE of being the new owner!
Hi everyone!
I want to thank all of you who have stopped in to meet me here at About Memories and More! I am excited for this new adventure, and have so many plans to bring to the store. I have already recieved my first shippment of FANTASTIC VALENTINES DAY paper and fun supplies! (If you love sparkles on paper, you will love this paper!!!) It is sooooo cute and would also be great for little girls, birthdays, parties and more!
And this is just a small sample of the cute valentines paper!
I will do my best to keep up with the e-mails and blogs! Although, Kirsten set the bar pretty high for me to keep up with!
I cannot wait to meet all of you, and appreciate everyones support (and patience) while I learn everything and get a routine down! :)
